Caring For Your Denim
Denim is often the backbone of our wardrobe – a much-loved staple, always on high rotation. The perfect fit with those distinct lines and creases that are specific to you come from wearing your jeans for long periods without washing. Let your jeans keep their shape and design integrity by giving them the care that they deserve.

Washing
Check the garment care label and follow the washing instructions carefully. We often recommend washing once before wearing. Due to the dyeing process used to create some denim looks transfer may occur, so avoid contact with light coloured garments, accessories, and upholstery. Beyond this, we recommend washing less. Instead, air your denim as frequently as you can.
Spot a stain? Use a damp cloth or old toothbrush with mild soap to remove them.
If washing is needed, check the garment care label, and follow the washing instructions carefully. Wash by hand wherever possible, in cold water and inside out, using a mild detergent. If machine washing is necessary – and the garment’s care tag allows it – choose a cold gentle or handwash cycle. Whilst denim colour is designed to fade overtime, cold water helps to keep the colour you love for longer. Washing with cold water also protects against shrinking, and it saves energy (and money), making it better for your jeans, your wallet, and the environment.
Never tumble dry, rub, or wring your denim. Instead, line-dry denim inside out for best results.
Waistband Care
Our denim is uniquely designed with knit tummy bands, panels, and wedges. To prolong the life of the waistbands, avoid pulling up using only the waistband as it may tear or damage the garment.
Getting The Most Out Of Every Wear
All our denim is individual and will age differently. Denim is designed to fade gradually and naturally to create that 'lived-in' look.
Denim with raw hems are also designed to fray during wash and wear. To maintain their frayed appearance, we recommend you take extra care when washing and trim long threads after the wash.
Finally, denim may stretch up after wear – consider this when choosing your size or consult a store team member.
